Amarone: Noblest of the red wines, with a rich ruby colour and a healthy fragrance of raisins and spicy cherries. dry and full-bodied, it delights the tongue with spice and raisin flavours -with tannin showing well in a long finish. It honours a meal of thick braised steak or game, as well as a juicy roast. |
